A dedicated initiative bringing together market experts to strengthen Luxembourg’s positioning as a leading European hub for Islamic Finance.
Building on Luxembourg’s strong foundations in Islamic Finance, this Task Force aims to mobilise industry expertise across legal, regulatory, tax and market infrastructure fields to address evolving market dynamics and enhance the jurisdiction’s international competitiveness.
Through a structured, multi-phase approach, the initiative will assess current gaps, explore targeted enhancements to the existing framework, and contribute to the development of a clear and compelling market positioning - particularly in the Sukuk space.
The Task Force will ultimately deliver actionable recommendations and a comprehensive white paper to support Luxembourg’s continued relevance and growth in this strategic segment.
